German drugstore chain, dm, has unveiled its very own iteration of the GPT-3.5 language model named dmGPT.
Operating exclusively on dm infrastructure, dmGPT mirrors the original’s functionalities, ensuring employees can utilize the technology within a secure and data-protected environment, the company reports. Since its inception in mid-July, approximately 1,100 colleagues have engaged with the chatbot, generating close to 35,000 prompts. The recent introduction of the model at dm’s main headquarters, the dialogicum, has expanded its reach to around 3,300 employees, with plans in motion to make it available company-wide.
The endeavor stands as a testament to the dedication and forward-thinking approach of the dm team, leveraging technology’s potential while emphasizing data protection and security.
